About me

Art has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Painting has always been one of the biggest ways I express myself, especially when I don’t really know how to put what I’m feeling into words.

A lot of my paintings come from my emotions, my experiences, and the things I go through in life. Sometimes I’ll have a feeling that I can’t really explain, and painting gives me somewhere to put it. It’s honestly very therapeutic for me. Creating allows me to slow down, get everything out of my head, and turn whatever I’m feeling into something real that I can see in front of me. In a lot of ways, I heal through my paintings.

I’m also really inspired by nature, colours, and the way I see the world around me. I’ve always noticed little details and colours really vividly, and I love bringing that feeling into my work. The colours in the sky, flowers, plants, water, light, shadows, textures, and all the little things you might normally overlook can spark an idea for me.

I don’t always start a painting knowing exactly what it’s going to become. Sometimes I just start painting and let it come together naturally. I love seeing where it takes me and how something can change as I’m creating it.

Every painting I make has a piece of me in it. Some pieces come from really specific emotions or moments in my life, while others are simply inspired by something I saw or felt. I think that’s what makes creating so special to me there’s always a reason behind why I’m drawn to something.

My hope is that when someone sees one of my paintings, they feel something of their own. Maybe they connect with the colours, the feeling, the subject, or find a meaning in it that I never even thought of. I love that art can mean something completely different to every person who sees it.

Thank you for being here, looking at my work, and supporting something that means so much to me. ❤️
